With the driving of the first foundation piles, construction has begun on the future distribution center at Schiphol Trade Park, where Van der Helm Logistics will further expand its activities.
The warehouse, measuring approximately 45,000 m², immediately stands out due to its green appearance and sustainable design.
Strengthening our cross-docking operations
This location strengthens our cross-docking activities in the Schiphol region. This means extra capacity, higher efficiency, and further optimization of your B2B and B2C supply chain.
Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Integrated logistics and sustainability
The distribution center combines logistical performance with ecological and energy ambitions:
- Facades with climbing plants
- Green roofs with water storage capacity
- Landscaping focused on rainwater collection
- Full roof with solar panels and battery storage
- Use of bio-based building materials such as CLT
The building is part of the Energy Hub at Schiphol Trade Park and is designed to generate more energy than it consumes.
Collaboration
The construction is being carried out by Aan de Stegge Twello, commissioned by developer AM. The design is by Convexarchitecten. Savills is the owner of the distribution center.
