In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring ocean freight import shipments. You ensure that all information between the parties involved is correct and processed in a timely manner. You collect, process, and verify information from various parties within the logistical process. Additionally, you monitor the progress and completeness of orders. You create forwarding files including costs, reservations, and revenues, and ensure correct financial and administrative handling. You maintain contact with all parties involved regarding operational progress and report to the Import Team Leader. You also actively contribute ideas for improvements.
