Trainee Mechanic
Are you technically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to develop yourself in the world of logistics and transport? Due to the growth of our activities, we are looking for a Trainee Mechanic for our Moerdijk branch!
Our Fleet
Van der Helm has an extensive and modern fleet with over 50 tractors and 70 trailers. The fleet consists of carefully maintained vehicles that meet the latest safety and environmental standards, including advanced on-board computers and telematics systems. Thanks to this variety of tractors, semi-trailers, and specific configurations, we can efficiently execute both national and international transport assignments. You will drive reliable equipment that is technically up-to-date and tailored to the diverse logistics needs of our customers.

Our offices
Van der Helm operates from three strategically located sites that perfectly complement our logistics services. In Hoofddorp, near Schiphol, we support clients with fast air freight connections and excellent accessibility for international shipments. In Moerdijk, we are located in the logistical heart between the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, ideal for sea freight, warehousing, and multimodal solutions. Our head office in Den Hoorn serves as the central hub from which our teams collaborate on planning, customer service, and operations. Thanks to these locations, we can work flexibly, efficiently, and close to our customers—exactly where and when they need us.
