As a family business, we think in generations, not quarters

Since 1936, we have been moving goods through Europe with our own people, our own warehouses and our own transport fleet.

We use that direct control to lower our emissions, guarantee safe work and operate with integrity throughout the chain. Where we cannot eliminate impact, we are transparent about it.

Our people make the difference in operations. That is why we invest in safety, craftsmanship and long-term employment relationships: in the warehouse, on the road and in the office.

  • Structural safety training for warehouse and transport employees
  • Training and career development paths, also for career changers
  • Permanent contracts where possible; limited use of flexible staff
  • Attention to vitality, workload and absenteeism management

Transport and storage cost energy. We reduce that consumption where possible: with cleaner equipment, smarter planning and our own power generation at our locations.

  • Renewal of our own fleet to the latest emission standards
  • Load factor and route optimization as a fixed planning criterion
  • Solar panels and LED lighting at our locations
  • Modal shift to rail and sea freight where the supply chain allows

Flows of goods run on trust. We record how we handle customs, safety and data, and hold our partners to the same agreements.

  • Compliance with customs and safety regulations (e.g. AEO)
  • Screening and clear behavioral agreements with carriers and partners
  • Transparent reporting to customers about shipments and emissions
  • Information security and privacy according to fixed procedures

We are rooted in the regions where we are located. That means work close to home, space to learn the trade and involvement in what is happening in the local area.

  • Internships and apprenticeships in collaboration with regional education
  • Employment close to home at all three locations
  • Support for local sports and social initiatives
  • Waste separation and reuse of packaging material

Questions customers ask us

Yes. Upon request, we provide emission and shipment data per customer, suitable for your own CSRD or scope 3 reporting.

We calculate per shipment, based on distance, weight and the modality used. Upon request, we provide the substantiation of the methodology used and the source data, so that your own reporting remains verifiable.

That depends on the service and the location. Our customs activities fall under AEO, our quality processes under ISO 9001, and the distribution center in Moerdijk under BREEAM Excellent and the TAPA-A security standard. The current documents are on our certificates page.

Yes. The distribution center in Moerdijk is getting extensive charging infrastructure for electric transport, and through our own forwarding department, we arrange sea, air and rail freight. Which modality is feasible depends on destination, lead time and cargo type. We will calculate this with you in advance.

We work with a fixed group of carriers and record behavioral agreements in advance. We screen new partners before they drive for us, and we address partners as soon as agreements are not met.
